The TD Summer Reading Club is a joint initiative between the TD Bank Group, Library and Archives Canada, and the Toronto Public Library. It is an award-winning program that offers children and their families a fun way to enjoy reading during the summer months. The objectives of the program are to consolidate what children learn in schools and reduce summer learning loss, to strengthen reading skills and promote the fun of reading. And finally, the TDSRC encourages children to visit their local libraries and ultimately to become life-long learners.
