MARKHAM, ON, April 8 /CNW/ - TD Canada Trust announced the grand opening of is 16th branch in Markham located at 220 Commerce Valley. This new branch replaces another location in the same area but offers a bigger and more convenient place for residents to do their banking. With Commercial Banking Group, Real Estate Managers, Waterhouse Management Group, Private Banking Advisors, Private Trust Advisors and Financial Service Advisors this financial services centre will provide residents and local business clients with all their banking needs.

"Although we just moved across the street, the new location gives us more space and the opportunity to expand our services - so we'll continue to serve the same community but even better," said Paul Rizzi, Branch Manager, TD Canada Trust. "Financial needs are always evolving and expanding, so to keep pace with that we have new integrated financial services - with retail, commercial and wealth management all in one location - you can call it a one-stop-shop for all of your banking needs."

In addition, the TD Friends of the Environment donated $15,000 to the Town of Markham for new trees to commemorate the re-opening of the new integrated financial services centre.

Trees have been known to live for as long as 100 years and are fundamental to sustaining our communities" said Mary Desjardins, Executive Director, TD Friends of the Environment Foundation. The new 9,000 square foot location is wheelchair accessible and features two full-service Green Machine ABMs and one Drive-Thru Green Machine ABM which are available 24 hours per day, and includes:
