B-Roll Advisory - TD commits $14.5 million to SEDI for financial literacy initiatives across Canada

Thanks to $14.5 million from TD Bank Financial Group, hundreds of thousands of Canadians will now benefit from Social and Enterprise Development Innovations' (SEDI) financial literacy programs.
Peter Nares, Executive Director, SEDI and Tim Hockey, Group Head Canadian Banking and President and CEO, TD Canada Trust, made the announcement today in Toronto, ON.
Part of the funding will be used to develop SEDI's new Canadian Centre for Financial Literacy (CCFL), which creates opportunities for low-income earners to increase their financial literacy. The remaining funding will be used to create the new TD Financial Literacy Grant Fund, which will significantly accelerate the pace at which SEDI can bring financial literacy skills to low income and disadvantaged individuals.
