MONTREAL, Oct. 9 /CNW/ - TD Bank Financial Group (TDBFG) and the Canadian
Children's Book Centre (CCBC) are pleased to announce the 2007 finalists for
the TD Canadian Children's Literature Award. For the third consecutive year,
this prestigious award and one of Canada's largest literary prizes offered for
children's literature will honour the most distinguished book of the year for
children aged one to 13.
    The winning English and French authors of the 2007 TD Canadian Children's
Literature Award will each receive $20,000. The remaining finalists will share
a $10,000 award.

    The French language awards ceremony will take place in Montreal on
Thursday October 25. The French language finalists are:

    The English language awards ceremony will be held in Toronto on Monday
October 15. As with the French language award, the winning book receives
$20,000 and there is $10,000 to divide amongst the honour books. The English
