TD Canada Trust keeps pace with dynamic Midland with a newer and bigger location
MIDLAND, ON, Nov. 19 /CNW/ - As part of its commitment to building a strong presence in Canada's many diverse and growing communities, TD Canada Trust today announced the grand opening of its new, bigger branch located at 295 King St & Elizabeth in Midland. The new branch offers a full array of personal and small business products and services as well as full-time Financial Advisors, Financial Services Representatives and an on-site TD Waterhouse Financial Planner dedicated to helping customers meet their financial goals. "We're excited to be in a new and better location in order to provide TD Canada Trust's award-winning comfortable service to the community. We have knowledgeable employees who are focused on providing a terrific banking experience to our Midland customers," says John Van Der Marel, Branch Manager. "We're happy to be expanding to meet Midland's growing needs as a prosperous and creative community and the economic centre of the Georgian Bay region." The new 8,000 square foot branch has been designed and built to provide customers with a comfortable banking experience - offering the products and services they want, when they want it. The new branch features 14 offices, 9 teller wickets and three full-service Green Machine ABMs which are available 24 hours per day. The branch also features TD Canada Trust's new, even longer, branch hours: 8am to 6 pm, Monday to Wednesday, 8am to 8pm Thursday & Friday and 8 am to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. The branch will celebrate its grand opening at 11 am on Friday, November 30, when Midland's Mayor, Jim Downer and other local dignitaries will be on hand at the branch for an official ribbon cutting. Joining them will be Chuck Hounsell, Senior Vice President, Western Ontario Region, TD Canada Trust; Mark Russell, District Vice President, Georgian Trails, TD Canada Trust and John Van der Marel, Branch Manager, who will present a $500 donation to Laurie Schutt, Director of Wye Marsh and a $300 donation to Peter Thomas of the Salvation Army Food Bank. TD Canada Trust has the longest hours and continues to open more branches in more areas than any other bank - from dynamic inner city neighbourhoods to rapidly growing suburban and rural communities.
