TD Canada Trust brings convenient longer hours to vibrant Port Moody
- TD Canada Trust brings its famous longer hours to first location in Port Moody. - Festivities included a $5,000 donation to Pacific WildLife Foundation. PORT MOODY, BC, Sept. 20 /CNW/ - As part of its commitment to building a strong presence in Canada's many diverse and growing communities, TD Canada Trust today announced the grand opening of its first location in Port Moody at No. 1 - 110 Brew Street. Furthering TD's environmental efforts, today's grand opening festivities included a $5,000 donation to Pacific WildLife Foundation courtesy of TD Friends of the Environment Foundation. Festivities also included the kickoff for a draw for two premium bicycles and TD Friends of the Environment Foundation reusable shopping bags for the first 50 customers. "Customers tell us that they like the option of being able to talk to someone in person, and have someone available to listen to their needs," said Amyn Jessa, Branch Manager. "We're bringing our award-winning customer service and famous longer hours to the residents of Port Moody for the first time and I know they'll be impressed at how comfortable banking can be." Today at 1:30 p.m., Jane Russell, Senior Vice President, Pacific Region, TD Business Banking, David Guzzo, District Vice President, Tri-Cities/Burnaby/Surrey District, TD Canada Trust and Amyn Jessa, Branch Manager were on hand to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting. Everyone in attendance enjoyed refreshments while children took part in fun activities. Situated in Port Moody's Whistler-inspired Suter Brook Village, the new location offers a full array of personal and small business products and services as well as a Financial Planner and four Financial Services Representatives. This new branch is dedicated to helping customers reach their financial goals while providing a comfortable experience. As part of TD Canada Trust's extended hours, branch hours are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Wednesday; 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday and Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The new 5,600 square foot branch is wheelchair accessible and features one full-service Green Machine ABM which is available 24 hours per day.
