TD Canada Trust is growing right along with Fort McMurray with new branch in Timberlea Landing
- The latest addition to TD Canada Trust's growing 1,100+ network of branches nationwide, this new location makes banking even more convenient for Fort McMurray residents. - Grand opening festivities include a $5,000 donation from TD Friends of the Environment Foundation to the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, the kick off for a draw for two bicycles, door prizes, refreshments and children's activities. FORT MCMURRAY, AB, Dec. 1 /CNW/ - TD Canada Trust today announced the grand opening of its second location in Fort McMurray as part of its 1,100+ branch network in diverse communities across Canada. Located at 331 Powder Drive, the grand opening festivities included a $5,000 donation to the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo courtesy of TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, the kick off for a draw for two bicycles, children's activities and refreshments. "This is such an exciting time to be living in Fort McMurray. We've experienced immense growth in the last few years and it's important for TD to keep up so we can continue to meet the needs of our customers," said Chris Harasemchuk, Branch Manager. "A second location that offers our famous longer hours and award-winning customer service means our Fort McMurray customers can come in and do their banking when it's convenient for them." Situated in Timberlea Landing, the new location offers a full array of personal and small business products and services as well as two Financial Advisors and one Financial Services Representative. This new branch is dedicated to helping customers reach their financial goals while providing a comfortable experience. Today at 10:30 a.m., Ron McInnis, Senior Vice President, Prairie Region, TD Canada Trust, Ed Michielsen, District Vice President, Alberta North, TD Canada Trust and Chris Harasemchuk, Branch Manager were joined by Mayor Melissa Blake to celebrate the grand opening with an official ribbon cutting and cheque presentation. Guests also enjoyed refreshments, children's activities and a few even walked away with a door prize. As part of TD Canada Trust's extended hours, branch hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday and Tuesday; 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Wednesday through Friday and 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday. The new 6,000 square foot branch is wheelchair accessible and features two full-service Green Machine ABMs and one Drive-Thru Green Machine ABM which are available 24 hours per day.
