A strong strategic fit with TD Waterhouse Discount Brokerage

    TORONTO, June 11 /CNW/ - TD Waterhouse Canada Inc. announced today it has
acquired thinkorswim Canada, Inc. This follows the earlier announcement that
TD AMERITRADE Holding Corporation, in which The Toronto-Dominion Bank has an
investment, acquired thinkorswim Group Inc.

acquisition will have no immediate impact on thinkorswim Canada clients, who
will continue to access their accounts and services in the same manner as
before.
    The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
