TD Bank Group Appoints Leo Burnett as New Creative Agency for Canada
Toronto, Canada (September 10, 2012): TD Bank Group has confirmed the appointment of Leo Burnett, Toronto, as its creative Agency of Record in Canada after conducting a review in order to consolidate offline and digital advertising, social media and merchandising.
“We were very impressed with the quality of all the agencies we met with throughout the review,” said Dominic Mercuri, Executive Vice President, Community, Environment and Chief Marketing Officer. “After careful consideration, our decision to select Leo Burnett is based on our confidence in their strategic and integrated creative capabilities. We would like to recognize and thank DraftFCB Toronto once again for their many contributions to TD over the past 13 years. DraftFCB has served us well and has been instrumental in helping us grow the TD brand.”
TD’s other agencies – Starcom in Canada for media and Tierney in the U.S. will remain the same and are not affected by this decision.
